Manor Career appearances for 2011-12

Appearances in profiles are for all 1st team games up to 28th January.

Adam Puzella
Adam.JPG
Adam has made a welcome return to the club. Very versatile and is already showing he is a great to asset for the Manor in the season ahead.

Team: AC Milan
2011/12 appearances: 11(0)0

Alex Taylor-Law
ATL2010.JPG
Alex is a very solid defender, very reliable and unflappable.
"Alex is a regular in the team and provides much needed steel and experience to the team. At home anywhere across the back four, Alex is able to slice a pass into touch just as easily from either full back position but rarely is beaten by an opposing forward."

Team: The Mighty Walsall.
2011/12 appearances: 14(0)0

Anthony Lands
Anthony.JPG
Anthony is an industrious and energetic player who has the footballing intelligence to go with it. Appearances are limited, due to his coaching with MK Dons.
"Extremely skilful player with a great football brain who can play in just about any position with distinction. Has settled most easily into a wide midfield or full back role. This is so that he can give his opinion to Jonathan on the touchline throughout the match and question every pass, decision or piece of team selection".
Groove rating = 9

Team: West Ham United.
2011/12 Appearances 1(4)0

Barry Falkner
BarryCopy.JPG
Barry is in his second season with the club and is determined to make a first team place his own. He has equalled our record of four goals in a game and has also followed that up with a hat-trick this season. He has a venomous left foot.

Team:
2011/12 appearances 18(1)12

Ben Potter
Charterwhite.jpg
Ben rejoined Loughton after a few years away at the start of 2012. He is ready to challege for the keepers spot for the reast of the season.

Team:
2011/12 appearances: 1(0)0

Colin Hawes
Colin.JPG
We are pleased that Colin has re-joined for his second season. He is very comfortable on the ball and has good distribution. His work commitments will reduce his appearances more than anything else.
"A new addition in pre-season, Colin has already made a mark on the team (firstly by injuring Ian for six weeks and then with the winning goal to move us up to 4th in the league). Colin hits an excellent cross-field pass which would be even better if we had an 11 foot tall left winger to keep the ball in play."

Team: Arsenal
2011/12 appearances: 8(2)0

Ian Fraser

Ian.JPG

Ian rejoined a couple of seasons and has helped us improve our football. He is two footed with vision, composure by the bucket load. He generally plays centre midfield or centre back. Very potent with free kicks.
"Back at Manor after a few years playing South Midlands, Ian is the brains in the midfield. He has the ability to slow the game down to his own walking pace and was once seen tracking back an opposing player without suffering from chest pains. He possesses an amazing first touch and is our dead ball expert around the box".

Teams: Barnet & Chelsea
2011/12 appearances: 15(1)7

Jacob Hack
Jacob2010.JPG
He has been one of the most consistent players over the last few seasons. A very talented attacking player. He was injured for a good part of last season, but he is raring to go and get his name on the scoresheet on a regular basis.
"Injuries in the past couple of seasons have limited Jacob’s performances but hopefully with a clean bill of health he will be back to the form that won him Player’s Player three seasons ago. Jake pulls the strings in midfield and his ability to hit a killer through ball is almost equalled by his ability to win the midfield challenge".
Back from injury January.

Team: Manchester United
2011/12 appearances: 19(1)3

James Egerton
Charterwhite.jpg
Eggy has finally join Loughton Manor in October 2011. He is already well known to the club and we look forward to seeing him between the sticks on a regular basis.

Team:
2011/12 appearances: 5(1)0

Jaz Gill
Jaz2010.JPG
Jaz was a regular leading scorer for the club, but the last few seasons his appearances have been limited. This season looking stronger than ever and hungry for goals.
"Top scorer in each of the first three seasons, Jaz has been sidelined through injuries and family commitments in recent seasons but has come back fresh from pre-season in good form. He looks leaner and fitter than in previous seasons and should be a good bet for top-scorer."

Team: Arsenal
2011/12 appearances: 5(0)3

James Davey
Jim2011.JPG
Jim joined us last season and although he did not score enough goals, his work rate, heading and link up play are becoming an essential part of or game.
"We anticipate that it will be around December when Jim manages to last 90 minutes. Having not played much 11-a-side in recent seasons Jim is finding his way, but his ability to hold up the play and bring others into the game will certainly help Manor to progress this season."

Team: Fulham
2011/12 appearances: 11(3)8

If Jim is not with us then he is probably with Arms of Atlas. Click here to go to their site.

Jim Palmer
JimP2.JPG
Quiet off the field but dominant on it. From Centre Half has scored 16 goals in the last two seasons. "An excellent defender or midfield player. Jim has been in the top 2 for Player’s Player award in each of the past four years and really is the first name on the teamsheet. We’re already running a sweepstake as to when Jim will throw his toys out of the pram and threaten to leave this season. Scored 6 goals from centre half last year and is a fearsome sight when going on his end to end runs".

Team: Arsenal
2011/12 appearances: 17(1)5

Kenny Clementson
Kenny2010.JPG
Kenny has been with the club for a number of seasons but work commitments have kept him away. This year he has a season ticket to Manchester United to limit his appearances. He is a strong defender who covers the back line very well.

Team; Manchester United
2011/12 Appearances 9(5)0

Luke Checkley
Luke2010.JPG
Luke has been with us from the start. Probably the fittest player at the club who is comfortable in a number of positions. He has been the vice captain for a number of seasons.
"Does not understand the meaning of a 50:50 challenge as his speed and determination mean he is favourite to win most tackles. Luke is convinced that centre midfield is his best position but is easily at home at centre half or full back, from where he will often go on long runs, sometimes with the ball at his feet".

Team: Manchester United
2011/12 appearances: 14(0)0

Matt Line
Charterwhite25.jpg
Matt joined us at the start of 2012. He made an immediate impact when coming on as a substitute with two goals on 20 minutes at home to Thornborough. We are looking forward to seeing some more of him as the season progresses.
Team: ?
2011/12 appearances 2(1)2

Mike Landy
Mike2010.JPG
Captain of the club for a number of seasons. He leads by example and will not give up until the final whistle. Without doubt he has the hardest shot at the club. Can deputise in goal without any worry to the back four.
"Club captain who has introduced subtlety and skill into his natural game of hard tackling and long distance shooting. Mike always leads by example and rarely loses a header or tackle. He still remains the only player in the club who will try 70 yard passes on a pitch measuring 30 yards long!!"
Groove rating = 7

Team: Liverpool
2011/12 appearances 20(1)3

Michael Billingham
Billy2011.JPG
'Billy' has returned to us this season after having one season at Bletchley Bridge. Hopefully his work commitments will not hinder his appearances too much. A very composed player.

Team: Manchester United
2011/12 appearances 4(3)0

Ricky Cooke
Cookie.JPG
University limited him to 2 appearances last season, the first and the last. A combative player who punches above his weight.

Always happy to be on the bench - see photo.
Team: Arsenal
2011/12 appearances 1(2)0

Russ Whitcomb
Russ2010.JPG
Has in the past shown passing interest in playing, but this season has started to show what he can do when he is available on a regular basis. He has very quick feet and balance.
"If Russell was available to us for a full season he would be the difference between a top six and a top three finish in the league. Terrorises opponents with his speed, close control and finishing. Can never be accused of going missing in a game but can certainly go missing in a season for two – three months at a time. Would be guaranteed Player of the Year if he was there for a full season".

Team: Manchester United
2011/12 appearances: 19(2)16

Ryan Parsons
Ryan2010.JPG
A season ticket holder at Arsenal limits his appearances but he still appears high on the scoring charts. Probably the best finisher at the club.
"Only really starts playing in the last few months of the season. Ryan can go three months without a goal and then score 15 in two months. A great finisher and someone who looks to play on the shoulder of the last defender so that he can pop up in the box to finish any chances – in other worlds this would be classed as a goal scrounger".

Team: Arsenal
2011/12 appearances 6(4)3

Sean Farrell
Sean2010.JPG
A player whose commitment to winning the ball keeps him a regular starter. He can lead the line or be a combative midfielder. Managers player of the season 2009/10.
"Joined the club as a centre forward but with a goal scoring record  similar to that of Diego Forlan in his Man Utd days he has been converted (reluctantly) to a midfield player but will definitely not convert further back as tried in pre-season. Voted as the hardest player in the team, Sean combines a great physical presence with a great work rate and touch. Has the same pre-match routine before every game (10 pints on a Friday night in the local by all accounts)"

Team: Arsenal
2011/12 appearances: 18(1)3

Shaun Hobbs
Charterwhite25.jpg
We are pleased that Shaun has joined us in November this year. He can play in midfield and the back 4.
